Will the Grove™ take paint off my wall if I use the adhesive method of installation?

The Grove may remove small circles of paint upon removal of the mounting brackets. To mitigate this, it is recommended that you use a small plastic spatula to wedge between the adhesive and the wall, slowly moving the spatula behind the adhesive until it is fully removed.
